Ocean Cyclery is a locally and family-owned bike shop in the Ingleside (OMI) Area of San Francisco, California.
We are a full-service and repair shop as well as a retail store. We sell bikes, electric bikes, and cargo bikes as well as bicycle parts and accessories. We are your one-stop shop. If we do not have an item in store we will gladly order it for you.
Our bike inventory caters to bike commuters, leisure riders, and more experienced riders and racers. We love to assist you with your new ride.
We can also build a bike up from the frames we sell. To make the bike as unique as you are. In his youth, owner Jeff Taliaferro fell in love with the Italian brand Tommasini as an amateur racer. He is excited to continue the love of Tommasini bikes, whose frames are hand built build in Italy, and offers custom Tomassini builds in the shop.
The brands we carry are Specialized, Marin, Fuji, Yuba, SE, We The People, SOMA and Tommasini and we offer all styles of bikes including Road, Mountain, Gravel, Hybrid, Electric bikes, BMX, cargo/ family and kids.
We are passionate about all things bikes. We use bikes as our main form of transportation and go for rides on weekends.

In 2019, Ocean Cyclery was added to San Francisco’s Legacy Business register. Check out the video to see Jeff accepting the legacy nomination.
The purpose of the Legacy Business Program is to maintain San Francisco's cultural identity and to foster civic engagement and pride by assisting long-operating businesses to remain in the city.
